Ahanta Traditional Council Rejects Chief Enstoolment

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates the Ahanta Traditional Council has expressed its utmost disappointment over news circulating that one Kwabena Antwi has been enstooled as the new overlord of the community.

In a recent statement sighted by ghlatest.net, it was stated by the Council that Otumfour Baidoo Bonsoe XV still remained the overlord of the Ahantaman traditional area eventhough he was in the village seeking a cure to his illness.

They added that Otumfour Baidoo Bonsoe XV is expected to return triumphant from his medication to continue his customary and statutory as overlord of the area as soon as he recovers from his illness.

The statement reminded the public that Nana Aziaku, who happens to be the Tufuhene of the community will be the Acting President of the Traditional Council and will continue to hold that position till the return of Otumfour Bonsoe.
