Antonio Rudiger has stated that the current Chelsea team is ‘nothing Like’ the team he used to play for, of their clash against Real Madrid.

The Blues will travel to Real on Wednesday, 12 April, 2023, for the first leg of Champions League quarter final, which will eventually emerge as the third in a row that the two clubs have met in the competition.

Chelsea had the most recent win after emerging victorious in the 2021 semifinals of the competition, moving on to beat Manchester United in the final under the management of Thomas Tuchel, before Los Blancos emerged triumphant in 2022 on their way to winning their 14th European title.

On both occasions, Antonio Rudiger lined for Chelsea but now he is playing for Real Madrid having moved from Stamford Bridge to Santiago Bernabeu as a free agent basis last summer.
