Citizens Abusing Police Will Keep Rising If The Service Fails To Address Issues Of Police Brutalities – Criminologist

A criminologist who doubles as a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Jones Opoku Ware has stressed on the need for the Ghana Police Service to refine training personnel with intensified training on the issue of anger management.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, Mr. Jones Opoku said the Police institution is moral because they are responsible for maintaining law and order as well as protecting lives and properties hence it is essential that the public respects the service personnel.

He suggested that it is inappropriate for the people protected by the police to engage in physical fights with them.

According to Jones Opoku Ware, the Police Service is a moral institution that upholds the law and order, and as such, they must be respected and treated with dignity by the general public.
