Chelsea Stars To Face 30% Wage Cut Amidst Poor Performance In EPL, Champions League

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates Chelsea players who have been signed or placed on new contracts since Boehly-Clearlake Capital owners took over will reportedly face a wage cut up to 30 percent in line with a clause introduced into their contract.

It’s been quite an eventful first season for the club owners at Stamford Bridge with more than £600 million spent on new signings while two managers have also been sacked.

According to information gathered by ghlatest.net, Chelsea new owners introduced a ‘Champions League reduction clause into contracts signed under their stewardship.

The club has made 13 permanent signings over the past year while several players have also put pen to paper on new contracts such as Reece James, Ben Chillwell and Thiago Silva.
