EPL: Match Official Suspended After Liverpool’s 2-2 Draw With Arsenal

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates assistant referee, Constantine Hatzidakis has been suspended from officiating any football matches while a Football Association investigation is being conducted into a recent in incident involving him and Liverpool’s Andy Robertson on Sunday.

Further details indicate the bizzare scene saw Robertson yelling at Hatzidakis after the half-time whistle at Anfield during the 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

Observation from the scene indicates the official seemed to throw out his hand to shrug him off, though footage suggested that he may have caught the Liverpool fullback on the chin with his elbow.

On Monday, the Professional Game Match Officials Limited released a statement confirming his suspension with indications Constantine will not be appointed to officiate any fixtures in any of the competition as the FA investigates the blizzare incident.
