Legendary Manchester City and Burnley boss, Vincent Kompany has finally come out to respond to claims that he is Chelsea’s target for a permanent manager at Stamford Bridge.

Earlier this week, there were reports that the 37-year-old sportsman is now running for the hot seat at Stamford Bridge after guiding Burnley to the Premier League not long ago.

News trooping in from the camp of Chelsea indicates the club is seriously considering hiring the likes of Tottenham ex-boss, Mauricio Pochettino while their interest in Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique goes cold.

Todd Boehly and co are expected to make an official announcement on who Chelsea’s permanent manager will be before the end of the season.
