Why I Started Singing – Davido Explains

Iconic Nigerian musician, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has finally opened up on why he quit his first job as a record for singing.

The “Aye” hitmaker stated that he had wanted to work behind the scenes as a record producer but he started singing after discovering he was better than the singers he was recording.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, Davido said he has always wanted to stay behind the scenes and make beats for a cousin of his because he was like the musician of the family.

According to him, after recording his cousin and other musicians who came to his studio for music records, he realized he was better than most of them because he could identify mistakes they made while recording.

Explaining further, he said after realizing he had that ear to identify petty mistakes made by musicians who graced his studio, he took the decision to start recording himself in his studio.
