2023 U-23 AfCON: Black Meteors Boss, Ibrahim Tanko Reacts To ‘Not Easy’ Draw Against Host Morroco

The national U-23 team of Ghana, popularly known as the Black Meteors are gearing up for the upcoming U-23 AfCON tournament with the team’s head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, expressing confidence in his team’s chances following the group draw held a few hours ago.

The continental tournament is set to kick off on Saturday, 24 June, 2023 with the Ghanaian U-23 team facing host, Morocco in their opening game at the Prince Moulay Abellah Sports Complex in Rabat where Morocco which indicates the host will play on home soil.

Ibrahim Tanko has acknowledged that the Black Meteors have been given a challenging path to the semi-finals, having been drawn in the same group as Morocco, Guinea and Congo.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, the Black Meteors coach noted that facing the young Atlas Lions on their home pitch will not be an easy task, with the host enjoying maximum support from their fans.
