Dada Boat Bemoans The Lack Of Financial Remuneration In Ghana’s Showbiz

Over the past few years, the Ghanaian entertainment industry has witnessed significant growth and garnered attention from both the local and international front.

However, despite the glitz and glamour associated with the entertainment fraternity, veteran Ghanaian actor, Mikki Osei Berko, popularly known as Dada Boat has raised concerns about the financial rewards of showbiz in Ghana.

Highlighting on the lack of financial remuneration in the entertainment industry as compared to other sectors, Mikki Osei Berko revealed that showbiz in the country doesn’t pay as much as it should.

Adding to this, Dada Boat reflected on his experience on the set of the popular “Taxi driver” television series, emphasizing on the non-monetary value it brought to his career and how the series played an important role in shaping his identity within the entertainment sector.
