Asamoah Gyan Reveals The Black Stars Game That Still Haunts Him Till Today

Salient Ghanaian ex-captain, Asamoah Gyan has revealed that one game he featured in for the Black Stars that still haunts him till today.

In a recent interview on Asempa FM, Gyan said he could recall Ghana’s game against Namibia being one match that still haunts him till today.

According to the former Sunderland player, it was one of the AFCON encounters where most people especially Ghanaian football fans felt they should have beaten the Namibians by 20 goals to nil.

He revealed that he missed certain chances that got Ghanaians really infuriated and disappointed in him so he threatened to leave camp afterwards.

Asamoah stated that he was fit but decided not to play but he made it clear prior to their AfCON experience in Angola during the 2010 edition that Ghana will go to the finals and it happened
