”Agyinasare, Have You Seen Your Smoothness Level?” – Lawyer Maurice Ampaw Wades Into The Nogokpo Battle

Popular Ghanaian legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has waded into the controversial back and forth between Archbishop Charles Agyinasare and the Nogokpo community via his famous legal programme “Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem”.

Speaking about the issue topping trends on numerous media platforms, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw advised the Archbishop to go and smoke the peace pipe with the leadership of Nogokpo after seeing the smoothness level in the ongoing battle with Nogokpo deity by soliciting the ideas of some notable Ghanaian public figures to go and settle scores with the Volta Regional township in a more holistic approach.

The whole controversial battle between the two factions began after Archbishop Charles Agyinasare said Nogokpo is the ‘demonic headquarters’ of the Volta Region.

After making such derogatory comment about the Nogokpo community, the entire Volta Regional community and its traditional leaders were angered by his sentiments and summoned him to appear before them within the next 14 days or face their wrath.

The Archbishop has since stated that he didn’t mean to cast a slur on the people of Nogokpo.
