I Want To Help The Black Stars End Trophy Drought – Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer

Hamburger SV attacker, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has expressed his desire to help the senior national team of Ghana end their 40-year trophy drought without winning a title.

The last time the Black Stars won a trophy was in 1982 when they were declared winners of the African Cup Of Nations (AfCON) tournament for the year.

Since then, the Black Stars have come very close to winning by making it to the penalty shoot-outs of the finals of the AfCON but clinging the ultimate trophy is still yet to be actualized.

According to Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer, it’s sad that the four-time AfCON champions have not won a trophy in a very long while.

However, he wants to play a major role in helping the Black Stars end the long-term trophy do now that he has switched nationalities from his German side to play for Ghana.
