Legendary Nigerian musician, Wande Coal has advised his colleagues in the music terrain that no matter how big they are, they should try and familiarize with the up-and-coming musicians.

He made this disclosure in a recent interview with Dotun “Do2DTun” on Cool FM.

His advice came on the back of Davido describing Burna Boy as a ‘new cat’ while rating himself and Wizkid on the same level labelling and he and the “Soko” hitmaker as ‘old cats’.

The recent disclosure made by the ‘Fire” hitmaker went viral causing a massive stir on social media as fans of Burna Boy slammed Davido over his comment, saying the ‘new cat got a Grammy.

This caused an uproar on social media as fans of the “African Giant” as well singers in the Nigerian music industry waded into the ‘new cat’ versus ‘old cat’ fiasco.
