EPL: He Doesn’t Look 32, Keep Him – Agbonlahor Begs Man City Not Sell Mahrez

Former skipper of the Aston Villa football club, Gabriel Agbonlahor has advised Manchester City not to sell Riyad Mahrez despite massive interest from Saudi Arabia.

Reports indicate Mahrez rejected an initial £40 million offer from Al-Ahli, a club that had plans on stepping up its efforts in signing the Algerian attacker.

Aside the fact that Mahrez hasn’t been starting regularly at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola as he faces competition from his teammates Bernardo Silva for the right-back position, the Algerian striker always delivers when called upon.

The Algerian international has to his credit 15 goals, making 13 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions for his current club amidst the 2022/2023 football season.

Speaking in a recent discussion with Football Insider, Agbonlahor said he wouldn’t let Mahrez go if he was part of the Man City management team because the Algerian footballer doesn’t look like he is 32 years of ago when he is on the pitch.
