Just In: Thomas Partey Hands In Transfer Request To Leave Arsenal Amid ‘Juicy’ Saudi Arabia Deal



Former Athletico Madrid stunner, Thomas Partey has reportedly told his current club, Arsenal, that he wants to move on this summer, in line with a bumper deal from the gulf said to be on his table.
The Black Stars midfielder has handed in a transfer request to leave Arsenal, per reports trooping in from the English media.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian international is now recognized as a surplus to requirements by the Emirates Stadium outfit, and the club looking forward to offloading him, having embarked on a massive spending spree on recruitments ahead of the upcoming football season.
According to online outlet Football Transfer, the Black Stars star player has made a request from his Spanish manager revealing his intentions to leave this summer, based on the fact that he doesn’t want to fall down the pecking order in midfield next season.
The recent report added that Arsenal is ready to let go their 50 million euros midfielder, provided they get a decent amount for his services from his current admirers amidst the ongoing transfer window.
Meanwhile, clubs from Saudi Arabia Pro League side and Italian Serie A league giant, Juventus have also expressed interest in signing Partey.
However, the imminent admirers are yet to come out with formal bids for the midfielder’s transfer move this summer.
Thomas Partey’s contract with the London club will expire on June 30, 2025 and admirers should be ready to provide 35 million euros in order to secure his signature per his transfer market valuation.
