Super talented Kumawood actress, Nana Yaa Appiah, recently provided an in-depth analysis on the tragic events that resulted in the sudden demise of her beloved daughter, Naa Adoma.

In a recent interview on One Ghana, the actress shared the series of events that unfolded, throwing more light on the challenges and emotional constraints she encountered during this trying time.

According to Nana Yaa Appiah, the heartbreaking journey started on a seemingly ordinary Monday when her daughter didn’t go to school.

Highly concerned about her daughter’s education, she decided to look further into the situation.

The actress reiterated that when she asked her why she was home and refused to go to school, she simply replied that she wasn’t feeling too well.

Sensing that something wasn’t right, Nana Yaa Appiah persisted in comprehending the situation. Despite remaining insistent she was under the weather, Naa Adoma promised to go to school the next day.

However, Tuesday came, and once again, Naa Adoma refused to go to school.

Extremely perturbed about her daughter’s well-being, Nana Yaa Appiah threatened to take her to the hospital if she still refused to go to school.

Determined to go to school instead, Naa Adoma resisted her mother’s advice and out of frustration, Nana Yaa Appiah resorted to stringent measures, saying, she got angry and took off her slippers to hit her.

Finally, her daughter agreed to go to the hospital. However, the diagnosis came as a huge surprise.

Nana Yaa Appiah revealed that her daughter was diagnosed with an infection and malaria, and her blood pressure was seriously low.

It became evidentiary that her daughter’s health had witnessed an immense deterioration.

Recounting on the moment she got to know about her daughter’s condition, Nana Yaa Appiah’s voice trembled with pain as she stated that after Tuesday, she went into her daughter’s room and she looked like she was close to kicking the bucket.

Flabbergasted about her mother’s intuition, she made a solemn decision—her daughter would not spend another night at home. However, Naa Adoma remained insistent she was okay.

The actress sought solace in the hospital staff’s reassurances but remained concerned.

She reiterated that the doctor confirmed the severity of the situation, but Naa Adoma’s stubbornness was persistent.

The little child of Nana Yaa preferred to sit outside when the lights went off, claiming it was too hot indoors.
