My Musical Success Started After I Left Sarkodie’s Label – Rapper Strongman Reveals



Ghanaian rapper and former signee of Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music record label, Strongman, has opened up about how he attained massive popularity and financial progress after exit Sark’s label.
In 2017, the salient rapper joined forces with Sarkcess Music following the end of his contract with his long known record label MicBurnez Music.
However, in 2019, he decided to part ways with the label owned by Ghana’s fastest rapper.
During his time with the Sarkcess Music record label, Strongman released notable songs, some of which includes “Monster,” “Vision,” and “Baby Girl.”
In a recent interview with Kbn Nkansah, posted on Twitter by Ama Sadat, the “Next Big Thang In GH” winner discussed how his music career began to succeed after exiting the record label, resulting in an increase in his earnings and a boost in his level of recognition.
According to the rapper, he started experiencing financial progress in his music career around the time he was preparing to part ways Sarkcess Music.
He reiterated that hitherto to his joining the record label, he had some savings that could have been used to buy a car, but he decided to use the money for other things instead.
During the interview, the rapper expressed gratitude towards Sarkodie, the brain behind Sarkcess Music, for supporting his growth in the entertainment industry.
However, he stressed on the fact that he now feels more at peace in terms of music composition and other aspects of his life compared to his time with the record label.
