CAF Releases Full Draw Results Of The 2026 World Cup Qualifiers



The Black Stars of Ghana are set to face tough competition from West African counterparts Mali, as they fight for a spot at the 2026 World Cup tournament to be hosted in three different countries.
Unlike the usual World Cup competitions that are held in only one country, the host of the next mundial will constitute three different nations namely, America, Mexico and Canada.
In line with qualification arrangements for African teams, CAF has officially released the full list of draws made to ensure top-class African battle it out in order to earn a spot once a team is worthy of qualification.
The groups letterhead A-I will see teams like Egypt face Burkina Faso and Ethiopia in Group A while Nigeria meets South Africa and Benin in Group C.
The Black Stars of Ghana will meet certain teams they had an encounter with in the ongoing 2023 AfCON qualifiers.
Two of such teams are Madagascar and Central African Republic, two teams the Ghanaian team didn’t show extreme supremacy over during their home and away encounter.
Below is a full list of the qualification draws for the upcoming World Cup tournament.

Egypt, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Sierra leone, Ethiopia, Djibouti
Group B
Senegal, Congo DR, Mauritania, Togo, Sudan, South Sudan.
Group C
Nigeria, South Africa, Benin, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Lesotho.
Group D
Cameroon, Cape Verde, Angola, Libya, Eswatini, Mauritius.
Group E
Morocco, Zambia, Congo, Tanzania, Niger, Eritrea.
Group F
Cote d’Iviore, Gabon, Kenya, Gambia, Burundi, Seychelles.
Group G
Algeria, Guinea, Uganda, Mozambique, Botswana, Somalia.
Group H
Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Malawi, Liberia, Sao Tome.
Group I
Mali, Ghana, Madagascar, CAR, Comoros, Chad.
