Wizkid Clocks 33 Years, Hints At Retirement

Salient Nigerian Afrobeats star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as  Wizkid,  clocked 33 years on July 16, 2023.

The award-winning Nigerian musician reckoned that he has more than enough musical catalogue to retire as a salient artiste.

The “Soko” hitmaker, who turned 33 on Sunday, July 16, 2023, had an interview with Capital Extra’s Manny Norte.

The interviewer had stated the last time they met, the Starboy honcho made it clear to him that he “got enough music to retire.”

The ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker also hinted that his sixth studio album is on its way.

Fans of the multi-award-winning musician have since taken to different social media platforms to hail their superstar after he posted a short clip on his Instastory to celebrate his day.

While some scripted their beautiful birthday wishes to celebrate Wizzy as he is also preferably referred to by many, others took advantage of his birthday to appreciate his artistry and immense contribution to the Nigerian music industry.
