Barbara Naa Nyarko, popularly known in the entertainment industry as OV, has debunked claims that she is affiliated with the Black Arm record label.
OV, a product of the MTN Hitmaker reality show, made it clear in a recent interview with Prudent on DGN‘s entertainment programme, Entertainment Guide, that she never signed any contract with the Black Arm label.
She stated emphatically that, despite the numerous rumours circulating on the media terrain, she never entered into a deal with Black Arm as purported by many.
She further acknowledged their ongoing relationship and Blakk Cedi’s unwavering support for her craft, but she consciously denied any affiliation with the late Burniton Music Group manager.
A few years ago, OV was signed to the Burniton Music Group, a widely known recorded label in Ghana headed by the idolized Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, during the managerial reign of Blakk Cedi.
OV was the subject of rumours that she would follow in the footsteps of his colleague signees Kelvyn Bwoy, who signed with the prestigious Black Arm label after the turmoil that eventually resulted in the split between her old boss, Stonebwoy, and Blakk Cedi four years ago.
The former Burniton Music Group signee, however, refuted the allegations, while stating that she never signed a contract with Blakk Cedi’s Black Arm label.
