Why I Don’t Speak About Nigerian Politicians – Wizkid Explains

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid  has come out to explain why he seldomly makes comments about politicians in his songs and interviews.
Wizkid said the Nigerian masses don’t really care about politics, adding that the only thing they care about is how to make ends meet.
In a recent interview with Evening Standard, UK, the “Ojuelegba” hitmaker stated that he doesn’t like to speak about Nigerian politicians because people in the streets care more about themselves and what they are going to eat and nothing else.
The Nigerian Afrobeats singer also revealed his ambition as a leader of the new generation of Nigerian musicians.
He said he wouldn’t judge past generations, stressing that his main aim is to steer the new generation forward.
The award-winning artist said he desires for the new crop of Afrobeats musicians to make global exploits and stay united.
The “My Baby” crooner has established himself as one of the leading forces in both the Nigerian and African music industry.
