“This Is A Disrespect To Islam” – Nigerian Muslims Drag Davido For Promoting Music Update Of His New Signee

Award-winning Nigerian singer Davido has faced massive backlash from some Nigerians who accused him of disrespecting the Islamic community.

The issue emerge when Davido promoted the music update of his new signee, Logos Olori, which, according to critics, constituted elements saw as disrespectful to the Islamic religion.

Logos Olori whose real name is Olamilekan Emeka Taiwo has risen to prominence after featuring in Davido song Picasso off the singer’s album, Timeless.

In the promotional update shared by the “Gobe” hitmaker on his page, his new signee Logos Olori, who is the singer, was sighted together with others wearing white Jalabias.

The singer could be heard mentioning lyrics like “Allihamdulilah,” while others in the ipdate were seen on their prayer mats, observing Solat, an which depicts the act of prayer in Islam.

Swiftly, some acclaimed Muslims in the update were seen dancing at the same time they were praying, a situation that negates that of the Islam belief.

Reacting to the recent update’s release and Davido’s active promotion of it on the social media terrain, a section of Nigerians took to the media platform to express their utmost displeasure in the video.
