I Wish Fireboy And Omah Lay’s Songs Were Mine – Oxlade Confesses

Super talented Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, popularly known in the music circle as Oxlade, has revealed that there are some songs by his colleagues that he wishes he sang himself.
The ‘Ojuju’ crooner while speaking in a recent interview with Lagos-based Beat 99.9 FM, said he wishes he sang Omah Lay’s ‘You’ and Fireboy DML’s ‘King’.
Oxlade stated without equivocation that Fireboy is his very good friend but he really wished he was the one who owned those songs, and he believes that he would have drop some amazing vocals on Omah Lay’s You if it was his.
“The song I wish I sang that I really wish I sang… They are two actually. There is ‘You’ by Omah Lay. I feel like I would murder that song with vocals,” he said.
And then there is ‘King’ by Fireboy. That song… For the first time in my life, I really wanted to be the person that sang ‘King.’ Fireboy is my best friend. We are pretty close” he further disclosed.
