It’s Not Ungodly To Use ‘Aha Ye Kwan Ho’ In A Gospel Song – Mabel Okyere

Ghanaian female Gospel singer Mabel Okyere, has recently debunked the assertion that she has made used or a ‘worldly’ term in her new song.

In a recent interview with Amansan Krakye, she said the term used in the song, which is ‘Aha Ye Kwan Ho’, is a term used by the elderly in Ghanaian society and people who chose to express themselves in few words, to show gratitude to the Almighty God.

Talking on Cape Coast-based Property FM, Mabel posited that it’s not fallacious to say that it’s a worldly term but rather, “Aha Ye Kwan Ho” is used by the elderly for gratification of God, adding that the title of her song is “Anuonyam”.

She added that, when one listens to the song carefully, it didn’t just say “Aha Ye Kwan Ho” for nothing but it says she can’t say so many things publicly.

However, all she can say is that the lord has made her life worthwhile and so it’s a powerful message and as such even the heavens have accepted her song.

She remarked that, God has done so many things in her life but if she wants to name them one by one, the day might even end so this is in a way her own way of thanking the Almighty Creator with few words.
