I Disagree With Those Who Claim Gospel Music Isn’t Vibrant – Obaapa Christy

Highly acknowledged Ghanaian female Gospel musician, Christiana Love, currently recognized as Obaapa Christy has debunked the assertion that gospel music isn’t vibrant in the country as compared to how it used to be a few years ago.
Speaking in a recent interview on Cape Coast-based Property FM with Amansan Krakye, the award-winning Gospel singer said gospel music is rather going through some metamorphoses.
Adding to this, she reiterated that she doesn’t see it that gospel music is gradually going down in Ghana but rather it has gone through a little changes over the past few years.
She reiterated that, right now, Gospel musicians don’t use the old rhythms and style of singing but rather it can be observed that most gospel singers are improving themselves.
Furthermore, she stated that things are changing so whatever one is doing, it’s advisable that he or she keeps improving from one stage to the other just like the stages a child goes through after being brought into the land of the living.
She opined that, when fans listen to some of her old gospel songs and compare them to her recently released songs, they will notice some differences in it.
