Sarkodie Jabs Yvonne Nelson Again In Latest Song

Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has once again reignited the controversy surrounding his recent feud with actress Yvonne Nelson, emanating from an alleged abortion that occurred a decade ago.

Despite almost two months passing since the initial clash, the “RNS” hitmaker appears adamant about letting Yvonne Nelson rest, blaming her for tarnishing his image.

In his latest song titled “Check My Zongo” featuring Dope Nation, the rapper refused to hold back as he rapped about the nationwide buzz generated by his response to “you-know-who” in a diss song titled ‘Try Me’.

He took a direct swipe at Yvonne Nelson again, insinuating that if she cannot handle the pressure or castigations, she should consider leaving Ghana.

“If they claim what I said broke her heart, then madam flee from Ghana just in case I offend you,” he rapped in Twi.

The lyrics of the recently released song has once again reignited debates among Ghanaian music lovers, fans and followers of both the rapper and Yvonne Nelson.

Some have expressed their utmost disappointment in the rapper’s decision to bring up past controversies, while others find the ongoing feud between the two Ghanaian celebrities fascinating.

Actress Yvonne Nelson brought up controversy when she named Sarkodie in her recently released memoir titled ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’ as the Tema-based rapper who got her pregnant and abandoned her to take a personal decision on what to do with the child.

This pushed Sarkodie to come out and tell his side of the story in a song where he claimed the pregnancy termination was a mutual decision they made because the baby was a hindrance to Yvonne’s education.
