Aguero Explains Why Messi Chose Inter Miami Over Reuniting With Ronaldo At Saudi Arabia

Not long ago, Lionel Messi turned down a juicy world record offer from Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al-Hilal to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami, and his close friend, Sergio Aguero thinks he knows why his former Argentine teammate took that decision.
From all indications, Messi is settling in nicely to life in Major League Soccer and has helped the Inter Miami football club to reach the Leagues Cup round of 16 stage after netting in three consecutive victories over Cruz Azul, Atlanta United and Orlando City respectively.
According to Forbes, the Argentine attacker will earn between $50-60 million, which is massively lower than the $545 million offered by Saudi Arabian Pro League club Al-Hilal.
In line with this astonishing decision taken by Mess, Sergio Aguero has opened up on why he thinks the former Paris Saint-Germain attacker ditched such a mouthwatering offer to settle for life in the United States MLS.
Speaking in a recent interview with Sportskeeda, he stated that he thinks Messi decided to opt for himself and his family to be well and to be able to play as relaxed as possible.
Aguero further stated that if Messi had been playing in Europe, obviously the requirement would be different, and so he can’t play his last years the way he wanted, which is to enjoy.
He added that, he thinks Messi chose Miami over Saudi Arabia for convenience because obviously Miami is a nice place, there are lots of Latinos.
Furthermore, he revealed that he thinks Messi also saw it from the family side, which he believes they can fit quite well in Miami as compared to Arabia.
