Being A ‘Lone Ranger’ Sometimes Makes Me Forget There Are Other People Involved In My Musical Journey – KIDI



Award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats and highlife singer/songwriter, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known in the entertainment circle as KiDi, has stated that despite receiving support from others in regards to his music career, he has always been a lone ranger, who is fond of handling things his own way.

While speaking in a  recent interview on Yfm’s ‘Dryve Of Your Lyfe’, the “Odo” hitmaker, detailed how challenging it can be for him to accept the input of others in his creative process.

Kidi further indicated that it sometimes eludes him that there are other people around him, playing an active role in his career and whose opinions matter a lot.

According to the “Say Cheese” hitmaker, having grown up independently, he finds it very difficult and sees it as a new learning experience for him to open up to other people.

Kidi to a greater extent highlighted that he has always received tremendous support from those around him despite his immense preference for solitude.

He also acknowledged the love and encouragement from fans and the music industry as a whole, but revealed that being alone is an important aspect of his personality.
