Widely revered Ghanaian artiste and music producer, DayOnTheTrack has uncovered the behind-the-scenes story of his essential involvement in Kwesi Arthur’s highly acclaimed “Son of Jacob” album.
In a recent interview on Accra-based Y 107.9 FM’s “Shouts On Y” with Winston Micheals, DayOnTheTrack, recognized for his exceptional musical prowess, stated that his experience working on Kwesi Arthur’s album was nothing short of extraordinary.
Describing the project as a “crazy experience,” DayOnTheTrack indicated that he felt an immense sense of ownership over the album, taking into consideration his extensive contribution to its creation.
The Tema-based music producer made it clear that he was involved in the lyrical composition and production of a total of five tunes on the album, which included some of its standout tracks.
Among his notable contributions, DayOnTheTrack stated that he was the brain behind the hit song “Baajo,” which featured Nigerian superstar, Joeboy as well as parts of “Celebrate” which also featured Teni and “Toxic” which had Adekunle Gold featured on it.
In addition to the aforementioned works, his talent extended to his featured appearances on “Animal” and “Mind over Body.”
The artiste and sound engineer emphasized the strong sibling bond he shares with Kwesi Arthur, stressing about their collaborative efforts across various aspects of music production.
