Gospel Musicians Deserve To Be Paid  Equally As Secular Artistes For Shows – Patience Nyarko Opines

Celebrated Ghanaian female Gospel singer, Patience Nyarko has appealed on event organisers to pay gospel artists equally as they do to their secular music counterparts.

The talented singer asserted that no matter how big a Gospel artist is, event organizers are always choose to pay them less than even a young rising secular artiste who has a little fame.

According to her, there is no way any A-list Gospel artist in Ghana will be paid the same as an A-list secular musician.

She went further to say that, Gospel musicians are better performers and argued that their stagecraft as Gospel singer, is way better than some of these secular musicians yet they receive extremely higher payment for shows than them(Gospel musicians).

Patience Nyarko remained insistent that Gospel musicians should be paid well because they equally spend a lot of money on recording albums, singles and even video shoot.

She reiterated that, just like secular artists, they also spend huge sums of money to shoot music videos for songs they release.
