Legendary Ghanaian hiplife singer, Natty Borax has stated that, unlike previously, there is no longer any competition in the music sector.

Speaking in a recent interview with Danny Fii Abtantie on Rainbow Radio 87.5 Fm’s The Away Bus Show, the veteran hiplife musician stated that today’s music is more synonymous to fast food.

Borax compared the current style of music making to fast food since it does not last.

He reiterated that, unlike in the past, when musicians including himself made numerous hit songs, the case is completely different now.

He further stated that competition was fierce during their era but today there is nothing like competition in the music scene.

According to the talented hiplife musician, one will struggle and it will take time before they can break through as a new artiste but that is no longer the case.

He went on to state that music in recent years is more akin to fast food and added that today’s musicians are interested in quick-production music that doesn’t last.

Furthermore, he disclosed that people can now use their bedrooms as recording studios because the process of music production is hastened.

Meanwhile, Borax has expressed gratitude to the media, claiming that it has played an essential role in his successful career.
