Widely revered Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has revealed his intentions to constantly provide support for up and coming musicians in Ghana.

He told Feeling Daddy in a recent interview on Takoradi-based Empire FM that, he is planning on helping rising artists to get a better understanding on the industry they are getting into, so they don’t commit certain errors made by the current crop of musicians in the industry.

“Gradually, I would just love to support artistes that are really coming up and would wanna do music and take them through orientation of who an artiste should be because we didn’t get the opportunity to go through some orientations. Like if we did, we would not be singing some profane songs here and there, doing some diss tracks here and there,” he said.

He also spoke about how a section of the media has dented his brand over the past few years, indicating that he always finds a way of turning around the negative talk about him into positive gains.

In line with this disclosure,, he stated that he consistently leverages the opportunity to transform negativity into positivity for my personal gain.

In response to comments by some media people that he doesn’t deserve to have a Diplomatic Passport (contrary to a suggestion by former French Ambassador Anne Sophie Ave), Shatta revealed that, the media personalities should lend their support and advocate for the cause with politicians, rather than undermining specific artistes in their discussions.

According to him, such negative attitudes might not be taken seriously by politicians, hampering their overall efforts.
