A Prominent Chief Blessed Me For Doing A Sensible Song – Mabel Okyere

Celebrated Ghanaian female Gospel singer, Mabel Okyere has revealed how a prominent Ghanaian chief called her on phone to express gratitude for her ‘Anuonyam’ song.

In a recent interview with Amansan Krakye, the ‘Aha Ye Kwan Ho’ hitmaker stated that the chief showered blessings on her for composing a sensible gospel song.

Narrating further on Cape Coast-based Property FM, the Gospel singer said she had a call from a prominent chief and he said “Maame you have really done a very good song” and according to Mabel Okyere, she’s a prominent chief but she doesn’t want to mention his name.

According to the female singer, he’s one of the biggest chiefs in Ghana.

She added that the chief called her on the phone, telling him about the “Anuonyam” song, the way he sees the song and what God has used the song to do in his life.

She went on to state that the man was showering blessings onto her life while stating that he has heard a lot of songs but as for her “Aha Ye Kwan Ho” song, he can testify that he has really done a great song.

Adding to this, the chief said that “Aha Ye Kwan Ho” is a statement used by the elderly but for the singer to use it to compose a gospel song and for the words in the song to be such sensible, he is enthused about her intelligent music composition.
