Explaining further on how the composition of the song emerged, he revealed that he was in America when he heard people talking about him and comparing him to people and stuff.

Adding to this, he said when Black Sheriff dropped his single, everybody started saying a whole lot of things and began making comparisons between himself and the “Konongo Zongo'” hitmaker.

In reaction to this sudden comparison, he stated that he prayed a lot, and was like, “God, you can’t let these people get us like that. Let’s do something”.

According to Shatta Wale, within a period of 45 minutes, he had finished playing the beats of the song, recorded everything, and gone back to sleep.

Moving forward, he also stated that his own colleague, Jupitar, was very supportive, as he helped the tune gain traction and also played a major role in the video’s direction.

He explained that he sent the song to Jupitar, who was also in America and was surprised when he heard the song.

Shatta reiterated that, Jupitar was the one who gave him the motivation to put the song out and shoot a video, while aiding him in directing the video, as well as promoting the song.
