Kaywa Never Signed Me After Sleeping In His Studio For Over A Year – Koby Symple

Fast-rising Ghanaian musician, Koby Symple has come out to reveal how he never got signed by Kaywa after sleeping in his studio for more than a year with hopes of getting something tangible out of his stay with the sound engineer.

Speaking in a recent interview on Cape Coast-based Property FM, the talented singer said he felt Kaywa didn’t take him serious, so he saw the need to move on, after getting the impression he wasn’t part of the Highly Spiritual Music Label boss’ plans.

During the interview, Koby Symple told Amansan Krakye that he doesn’t know whatever happened between Kaywa and all the signees that left his record label but with him there was no proper signing of a contract.

Symple revealed that he started with the Highly Spiritual record label and as that time, they were learning to become a record label, so in the beginning they did things and he was there when Kurl Songx was brought onboard to be signed onto the label.

The singer went on to state that he was there and knew it was the will of God because his presence was needed at that time so there was no bad blood between Kaywa and himself.

He confessed that he had that feeling that as an artiste, maybe they weren’t taking him serious and that stubborn ego gave him the impression he needed to go out there and do things on his own.

Narrating further, he revealed that he used to sleep in Kaywa’s studio and one day, he told the music producer he had gotten a room at Spintex so he wanted to move there because he has been sleeping at the studio for over a year but it seems he wasn’t part of the his plans.
