Sack All The Old Men From MUSIGHA – Shatta Michy

Popular Ghanaian female musician, socialite, and television show host, Shatta Michy has expressed her grievances on the current state of the Musicians Union of Ghana popularly known as MUSIGA.

In response to a question by Emcee Bebe on what should be done in order to rejuvenate the union on Ultimate 106.9 FM, Michy suggested that the day-to-day running of the union should not be left to old men and old women but rather be given to young guys and young women who have enough energy to run the affairs of the union.

Explaining further on her suggestion, she stated that, the old folks are old hence they don’t know the demands of modern-day music which is highly dominated by young folks, so they aren’t fit to lead the current generation.
