Nana Ama McBrown Recounts Sad Moments She Wept Bitterly In Her Room Because She Wasn’t Getting Movie Roles

Iconic Ghanaian screen goddess, Nana Ama McBrown, is one of the most acknowledged names in the entertainment industry currently based on her remarkable achievements in the entertainment space within the past few years.
While a lot of people, especially, the up-and-coming ones, might envy her progress and all that she has achieved so far, the Onua TV presenter has comw out to state that it was not as easy as people see it now.
During a presentation of items and other cash components to the Bekwai Municipal Hospital to mark her 46th birthday celebration on Tuesday, August 15, 2023,the actress advised all the people who look up to her to take it easy and get to understand that success in the industry takes a lot of time and patience.
Nana Ama also revealed that there was a time in 2007 when she locked herself up in a room and constantly wept bitterly because she wasn’t getting any movie roles simply because the directors were not using her in their movies like they used to.
The widely revered actress reiterated that, this was a period she can never forget because it happens to be a very difficult time for her.
However, during that moment of sorrow and pain, she received a call from renowned media personality, Hammer Nti, who works with Kumasi-based Pure FM concerning a deal that changed her life completely.
McBrown further narrated that the said deal was the mind-blowing deal she signed with hair cream brand BO-16 that saw her images scattered across the length and breadth of Ghana on numerous large billboards even though movie directors were denying her a place in their movie casts.
She went on to express her immense gratification to Hammer Nti for being a part of her success story today.
