Efya Lost Huge Deals Because Of False Speculations – Nana Adwoa Awindor Reveals

Host of the popular television show ‘Greetings from Abroad’, Nanahemaa Adwoa Awindor popularly known as Nana Adwoa Awindor has provided details on how her daughter lost out on a massive project as a result of false speculations.

Her daughter, who happens to be a famous Ghanaian singer and songwriter named Jane Afia Awindor popularly known as Efya has received a massive backlash on the internet concerning her lifestyle.

Some of the speculations which the musician has debunked on numerous public platforms have cost her a lot in her career according to the singer’s mother which can be very devastating and takes a huge toll on the musician as well.

Speaking in a recent interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning, Nana Adwoa Awindor narrated how Efya was in the middle of a lucrative business deal but lost out on the project after the investor heard false distasteful news about her.

She revealed that, one of the instances, they were working on a project, a massive project and the distasteful news broke it, the project didn’t happen and as a mother, she’ll feel bad about it.

Mrs. Awindor further stated some investors who had intentions of supporting the singer and investing in her talent sometimes pull out when they hear some of these speculations about her.

According to her, these are instances where they’re working on something, sometimes they’ll be working on something that should push her somewhere and these things come up, and that’s why she was saying earlier that one has to be careful with the way he or she does and say things because you never know the effect.

The mother of the award-winning female singer, who is also a Queenmother at Afigya-Kwabre in the Ashanti Region, further revealed that she has no regrets about Efya going into the music industry.

Mrs. Awindor also stated that she pledged her full support as a mother even if Efya decides to venture into something different.
