Playing My First Black Stars Match Against Brazil Was Very Difficult – Mohammed Salisu

Salient Ghanaian defender, Mohammed Salisu has spoken about his debut for the Black Stars team.

Following a recent back-to-back discussion, the former Southampton defender accepted to represent the Black Stars in June 2022.

Salisu played his very first game for the national team during a pre-World Cup friendly game between powerhouse, Brazil, where Ghana lost 3-0 in the encounter.

Despite putting up an impressive performance on his debut, the Black Stars were unable to battle the South American giants as they found themselves down at the end of the entire ninety minutes.

Speaking in a recent interview, Mohammed Salisu described his debut against Brazil as an extremely difficult one.

“Playing my first match with the national team against Brazil was really difficult. But I was really happy to make my debut,” he said.
