Iconic Ghanaian rapper and hitmaker, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru NKZ, has called on Ghanaians to believe in themselves and project the country on the global stage.

The “Lapaz Toyota” crooner said the country will not develop if citizens fail to project their personal brands.

Speaking in a recent interview on Asaase Café with Caroline Sampson, the talented rapper said he doesn’t know if Ghanaians have inferiority complex, adding that they don’t really believing in what we have, and the mere fact of the not being patriotic baffles him sometimes.

According to him, the code is to make Ghana great and nothing else, so even if the country has the worst environment, it is advisable that they project the unique and beautiful ones.

He reiterated that his problem is if we as Ghanaians don’t understand the motive of projecting the country’s agenda, then we will always get stuck, because we are not investing and we see ours as incapable or not having the standard, and that is where the problem lies.
