Polygamy Is A Choice – Counselor Charlotte Oduro

Controversial Ghanaian marriage Counsellor, Rev. Dr. Mrs Charllote Oduro has revealed that polygamy is not biblical and people shouldn’t try to justify it because some prominent people in the bible were said to have married numerous wives.

She reiterated that polygamy is a choice and shouldn’t be brought into the Church because Adam married only Eve and never married any other lady besides her.

Counsellor Charllote Oduro made this disclosure while speaking on Accra-based UTV when she made this known to the general public.

“Polygamy is not biblical. Please, it is a choice, so don’t bring it to the Church. The fact is, people watched portions of Dag’s preaching and took what interested them, but he went on to say that when the problems of polygamy come, people who are interested in it should face their problems and take their punishment” the counselor said.

Counsellor Charllote Oduro made this open revelation in reaction to Dag Heward Mills’ recent comments on Polygamy.

The highly acknowledged Pastor said “Nature even supports polygamy; there is no animal that has only one wife,” he said, quoting 1 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV), which reads: “Doth not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair it is a shame unto him?”

He then proceeded to ask: “Which goat has one wife? Which dog has one wife?”

Bishop Heward-Mills went on to state that it is mind-blowing how most of the saints and martyrs Christians look up got married to numerous wives but preach against polygamy.

“Nobody knows when it became a sin,” he said.

He also spoke about divorce, saying the Bible doesn’t frown on it.

Making references with the biblical quotations, he cited the book of Ezra 10:19 and Luke 18:30 to buttress his point about divorce.

The bishop’s sermon has sparked mixed reactions, with most people siding with him, while others disagreed.
