Cost Of Living In Kumasi Is Higher Than That Of Accra – Kwaku Manu

Celebrated Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu recently expressed his view on the cost of living in Kumasi during a conversation with popular Ghanaian blogger Zionfelix.

In contravention to the popular belief, Kwaku Manu asserted that the expenses associated with living in Kumasi are at par with those in the capital city, Accra.

During his disclosure, he addressed the notion that Kumasi offers an individual with a more economical living environment as compared to Accra.

He posited that both cities present significant financial constraints, and the ability to thrive falls on a person’s resourcefulness.

While discussing the topic, the Kumawood actor emphasized that many residents hold the misconception that life in Kumasi is relatively cheaper than Accra.

However, he reiterated that this was far from the truth. According to the actor, the hikened costs of goods and services in the Greater Kumasi region closely mirrors those in capital city, making it essential for residents of both cities to manage their finances with utmost prudence.

Kwaku Manu further acknowledged that personal financial strategies plays an important role in navigating the high cost of urban life.

He further urged residents to be proactive in adopting budget-conscious lifestyles.

The Kumawood actor also revealed that certain areas in Kumasi commanded higher prices for land and real estate than some neighbourhoods in the Greater Accra region.
