Efya Doesn’t Have A Strong PR Team – Sally Mann

Famous Ghanaian female media personality, Sally Mann has posited that Efya doesn’t have a very strong PR presence as a musician.
According to Sally, since her PR team isn’t that strong, she is unable to refute all the false accusations that have recently been made against her, which is making other brands disassociate themselves from her.
“Efya’s business is not really out there. If you want any information about Efya, it’s quite difficult to get that information. If she were to have a strong team with the PR side being strong, I think they would have been able to write something for us to or as a way of rejoinder or whatever to debunk whatever has been said about her that she deals in drugs or is a drug head” she said.
“In the past 4 months, a lot of tags has been placed on her and a lot of comments have come up concerning she and Blakk Rasta’s incidence with netizens criticizing her. But then again, I blame the fact that she doesn’t have a strong PR presence as an artist, so if any issue should arise concerning her, the information travels far because everyone get to speak his or her mind” she further stated.
Adding to this, Sally Mann indicated that whereas other musicians don’t have PRs, they come out to publicly debunk any negative claims about them, citing Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale as a typical example.
She said Shatta Wale wouldn’t allow any social media user to put out anything that will dent his image, especially tagging him as a drug peddler or drug addict.
Moving forward, Sally Mann said Efya is a phenomenal singer, but the aspect of her management in line with her image as an artist, is not properly handled.
The famous female media personality opined that Efya goes for corporate shows based on her brand citing examples with the likes of Festivals, and Legends Night with prominent personalities, even in Nigeria.
Sally Mann further revealed that because of how the musician has branded herself, should anything bad about her fall into the public domain, massive deals will be taken away from her.
She reiterated that in the country where she finds herself(Ghana), negativity sells with some musicians but not all artists have that luck to sell with negative news.
