Why I Decided To Become A Physician Assistant Despite My Status – Philipa Baafi Tells It All

Renowned Ghanaian female gospel musician, Philipa Baafi has revealed why she decided to pursue further courses to become a physician assistant.

Talking to Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Property FM, the philanthropist and singer stated that deciding to be a health practitioner was inspired by her passion to help the sick.

She reiterated that some people might say that where God has taken her to as a musician, there would be no need bothering herself to go back to school to become a Physician Assistant.

Explaining further, she said as for her, it’s not about money but to her, it’s service to humanity because she has had the passion since her childhood to help the sick and needy.

She went on to say that, if it wasn’t her passion, she wouldn’t have bothered herself in the first place going through all the academic difficulties to become a health professional.

Philipa continued by saying, it’s service to humanity, adding that in this kind of work, one needs to be very tolerant hence she felt the desire to do this and no wonder she already had a foundation.

“Even before going back to school, my foundation was engaged in ‘how well are you’ campaign and I worked with Doctors to do medical outreach program,” she concluded.
