Former Chief Drummer of the senior national team, the Black Stars, Joseph Langabel has finally opened up on the main reason for his separation from the senior men’s national soccer team.
According to Langabel, reports that he was pimping for some of the Black Star players and was engaged in illegal drugs are not true.
He said he was forced out as a result of jealousy of some individuals in Ghana football, some of which includes the current GFA President Kurt Okraku Mantey, whom he said accused him of travelling with drugs on trips.
“In the 13 years of Kwasi Nyantakyi’s administration, did you see anybody arresting Langabel at the Airport?” he asked host Romeo Oduro in a recent interview on Romeo TV.
Adding to this, he said jealousy set in because those persons had the impression the former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kwasi Nyantakyi, was giving him all the support.
In line with his disclosure, he dared anybody to come out and make any accusations if they heard any of the players come out to state that he was pimping girls for them.
“That’s the reason why I say if you are jealous, you will quench. These people don’t understand the reason why I am using these terms that ‘if you jealous, you go quench’ he added.
