You might probably be wondering what exactly resulted in the breakdown of the strong bond between Ghanaian dancehall music crooner Shatta Wale and award-winning rapper Sarkodie in the music industry.

The dancehall musician has however come out to explain why he has constantly been attacking Sarkodie and according to him, it has everything to do with the Glo mega-concert deal that c on the 25th of October 2018.

Speaking on a Twitter space with Serwaa Amihere, Shatta narrated that they both agreed to ask for a whopping amount of $150,000 for the Glo deal.

However, the Ghanaian rapper ended up taking GHC120,000 (which is about $20,000 less) from Glo.

To make matters worse, the organizers felt Shatta wasn’t worth the amount he asked for and offered him $131,000 instead of the initial $150,000 they agreed on.

Shatta Wale was angered that Sark wasn’t in support of his idea to boycott the show when they were offered an amount less than the agreed money. Instead, Sarkodie willfully performed at the show and took the $131,000.

This incident displeased Shatta and made him unhappy, after which he expressed his frustration on Twitter, which eventually led to the end of their friendship.
