Shatta Wale Should Be Rubbing Shoulders With Burna Boy But He Is Rather Envious Of Him – Sally Mann

Famous Ghanaian entertainment analyst, Sally Mann, has expressed her view stating that dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale should be rubbing shoulders with the like of Burna Boy but he is rather envious of the latter’s success.
In a recent discussion on Bryt TV, Sally Mann reiterated that Ghanaian musicians often seem to settle for their current status, unlike their Nigerian colleagues who momentarily strive to push their art globally.
She highlighted that in an ideal scenario, the dancehall musician should be at par with Burna Boy’s success trajectory, given that Burna Boy once stayed with Shatta in Ghana and was even featured by the Ghanaian singer in his song titled ‘Hossana,’ a move that contributed towards Burna Boy’s recognition in the country.
According to Sally Mann, Burna Boy leveraged the support of Shatta Wale as he eventually rose to prominence, and now Burna Boy has exceeded Shatta Wale’s musical achievements.
Sally Mann chastised Ghanaian musicians for their complacency and arrogance, while suggesting that they foresee themselves as accomplished with their limited achievements.
She reiterated that Shatta Wale could have established a collaborative connection with Burna Boy, who has now outpaced him in terms of music.
However, as a result of Shatta Wale’s envy and arrogance, he refused to seek assistance from Burna Boy and instead displayed resentment toward his success.
