“I Nearly Lost My Current Relationship Because Of Yvonne Nelson” – Iyanya

Nigerian musician and dancer, Iyanya, has finally opened up about a challenging time in his personal life when his relationship with his current partner was at risk as a result of Yvonne Nelson’s allegations against him.

In a candid conversation on the Tea With Tay podcast, hosted by actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, the Nigerian-based vocalist delved into the effect that Yvonne Nelson’s accusations had on his romantic life.

Iyanya shared that in line with the public revelation of the memoir, a woman he was seriously interested in getting into a relationship with became apprehensive about moving forward with him.

He said, “That stuff (Yvonne Nelson’s allegations) is crazy, bro?

He further stated rhat, that stuff nearly cost him to lose a relationship.

“Before this book [Yvonne Nelson’s memoir], I was talking to one innocent girl who is not famous but immediately that book came out, everything became shaky” he said.

It will be recalled that that Yvonne Nelson in her recently unveiled memoir, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’ launched on June 18, 2023, explained how she found out her then boyfriend, Iyanya, was having an affair with Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh.
