‘Down Flat’ Was Recorded In 25 Minutes – Kelvynboy Reveals

Award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats singer Kelvyn Boy has revealed that it took him only 25 minutes to record his smashing hit song, ‘Down Flat’.

In a recent interview with Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz FM, the talented musician heaped praises on his writing skills stating that he is blessed with the talent of composing  good songs in minutes.
According to Kelvynboy, the whole recording of ‘Down Flat’ was not planned.
“Sometimes I don’t know how I do it. Down Flat was recorded in 25 minutes. It sometimes sounds like I planned the whole recording.” he stated during the interview.
The former “BHIM” nation signee further narrated that he quickly put together harmonies once he heard the beat and later put a few words together which eventually got him the hit track.
Kelvyn Boy’s ‘Down Flat’ hit song clocked some remarkable success after its release in 2022.
The amazing Afrobeats song made its way to Billboard’s Top 50 Afrobeats Songs Chart alongside other amazing afrobeats musicians like Wizkid, Tems, Davido, Fireboy DML, and a host of artists from the West African side of the continent..
It also became a worldwide hit song, after topping trends on widely recognized social media platform, TikTok, as well as other social media platforms.
