I Want To Be An Inspiration To The Youth – Freezy Macbones On Why He Chose Ghana Over UK

UK-based Ghanaian boxer Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy Macbones, has finally opened up about his recent decision to represent Ghana over the United Kingdom in the upcoming Olympic Games qualifiers.

In an recent interview on Happy FM, the boxer, popularly known as Freezy Mcbones revealed his motivation and aspiration, while highlighting on his decision to represent Ghana on the global stage, instead of UK where he is currently based in.

The UK-based boxer expressed his deep-rooted desire to be a source of inspiration for the youth. When asked about his choice to represent Ghana instead of the UK, he passionately stated that he wants to be a great source of inspiration for the youth.

According to him, growing up, he looked up to athletes who represented their homeland with pride and as such, choosing Ghana is his way of giving back and showing the younger generation that they can also achieve their dreams, no matter where they come from.

Freezy Mcbones rose to fame after a decisive victory over Darryl Sharp at the Copper Boxing Arena in London in April, 2023.

Currently, he is training rigorously at the camp of the National Boxing Team, at their residential camping base, Trust Sports Emporium, Korle-Gonno, Accra, to ensure he makes it to the Olympic Games next year.
